J’ai quarante ans, au cas où vous ne le sauriez pas encore (il va nous pomper l’air encore longtemps avec ça?), et ça en fait des musiques dans ma pauv’petite tête. Classique, pop, rock, jazz, musiques de films et d’anime, et même de la j-pop, depuis peu. Boulimique, des centaines de concerts, des milliers de cd et je ne sais combien de mélodies chopées ça et là, et définitivement ou furtivement gravées dans ma mémoire. Il fallait bien que je vous en parle. Je ne peux pas imaginer d’écrire un blog sans écrire sur la musique. Bon, j’ai déjà abordé le sujet, mais uniquement sous l’angle de la musique d’anime, ou de la j-pop. Cette fois, j’ouvre la boîte de pandore : la musique c’est ma vie. Alors préparez-vous à en entendre de toutes les sortes.
Pour commencer, j’aurais pu vous présenter un best-of des mes groupes préférés, punks, heavy-metal, pop ou funk, mais je ne sais pas pourquoi, j’ai aussi envie de parler de la musique de film. J’adore les musiques de films. J’en écoute souvent, et je regarde même parfois certains films uniquement pour leur bande originale. Si, je vous jure. Le compositeur est parfois plus intéressant que le réalisateur.
Quand, en plus, les musiques évoquent pour moi des souvenirs nostalgiques, de films que j’ai aimés, de moments vécus et chers à ma mémoire, alors ça prend des proportions inattendues. Les films avec Jean-Paul Belmondo, tiens. Toute une époque. J’avais 10 ou 12 ans, c’étaient le début des années 80, j’avais le droit de regarder le film du mardi soir, et quand c’était un Bébel, alors là !
Il se trouve que certains de ces films, outre leur qualité intrinsèque, s’accompagnent de musiques originales de grande qualité, signées Morricone, Colombier, Sarde, Bolling ou Sondheim, que des pointures, pour les extraits que je vous propose ci-dessous. J’en ai acquis les CD tellement je les aime. De styles différents, ils ont en commun de riches orchestrations, en parfaite adéquation avec les images : épiques (L’Héritier, par Michel Colombier), ensoleillées (Le Casse, par Ennio Morricone), ironique (Flic ou voyou, par Philippe Sarde), entraînantes (Borsalino, par Claude Bolling) ou mélancoliques (Stavisky, par Stephen Sondheim).
Et puis, ces musiques remontent aux années de mon enfance, ce n’est donc pas un choix illogique pour inaugurer cette rubrique. C’est donc avec cette collection de musiques de films que je commence la série des musiques de ma vie, si ça vous plaît, il y aura des suites, et je ne sais pas encore ce que je choisirai.
